Engineering Technology - Manufacturing Program

Students gain knowledge of the different processes in modern manufacturing, like pneumatics or hydraulics, and learn to create programs that control systems in the industry.

Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Safety Credential
Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Quality Control Credential
Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Processes and Production Credential
OSHA 30 General Industry Credential

*Students must pass assessments given by industry organizations to earn credentials. Some credentials may be of cost to the student.

Certificates provide the base knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the area of study, with a focus on core, technical classes only.

Degrees consist of the same focus on core, technical classes, with general education courses included. Students that pursue a degree may be able to transfer certain credits to a four-year institution upon completion.

The foundation of Project Lead the Way, a national student organization serving high school and community college students, is to prep students to be more successful once they enter a university engineering program through a comprehensive engineering curriculum.

SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a program that helps students develop soft skills valuable in the industry, leadership qualities, and confidence in their skills overall. This is through opportunities provided in the program, like taking on leadership roles on committees and competing in national competitions.
